Install Parakh Android
Parakh installs in under a minute, and signing in (free) starts your 30-day trial — with a 7-day on-device demo if you'd rather try before you sign in. One step matters most: make Parakh your default browser — that's what lets MAGI check a link before it opens.

Install from Google Play
Open parakh.magensec.app/download on the Android phone or tablet you want protected — it takes you straight to Parakh on Google Play. Tap Install.

Open it and meet MAGI
A short, skippable welcome introduces Officer MAGI — the AI that checks your links. Safe defaults are already on, so there's nothing to configure.

Make Parakh your browser Required
Tap Set as default browser when asked. This is essential — Parakh protects links as they open, so links from SMS, WhatsApp and email must come through MAGI. Without it, a scam page opens in another browser and can't be checked.

Check a link
Not sure about a link someone sent you? There are three easy ways to have MAGI check it first.

Paste it
On the Parakh home screen, paste or type the link — or the whole message — into Check a link and tap Check this link. MAGI finds the link for you.

Share to check
In any app, long-press the message or tap Share, then pick Forward to Parakh. MAGI checks only what you share — never your conversations.

Scan a QR code
Tap the QR icon in the Check-a-link box to scan a printed or on-screen code and reveal where it really goes.
Read the verdict
MAGI answers in plain words first, then shows the reasoning if you want it. You'll see one of three results:
No signs of a scam, impersonation or hidden redirect. You can open it — MAGI keeps watching in the background.
Something doesn't add up. MAGI explains why in one line (for example, a link that hides its real destination) and lets you open a protected preview instead of the real page.
MAGI believes this is a scam or trap and blocks it. You can close it safely, or warn whoever sent it with one tap.

Check this phone
Most scams succeed because of a setting, not a click. The Protection tab shows what Parakh has checked on the phone itself — and says plainly when it could not check something, rather than assuming the best.

Open Protection
Tap Protection in the bar at the bottom. The ring is amber whenever something needs a look, green when everything Parakh can verify is in order.

“Keep an eye on” is not a to-do
Some findings have no fix yet — an app maker has not shipped one, or your phone is already on the newest build it has been offered. Those are listed separately and never count against your score, because there is nothing you can do about them today.
Report a suspicious link
Saw something off — even on a link MAGI cleared? Send it to our team for a closer look. Your reports help protect everyone.

Open the report screen
Tap More in the bar at the bottom, then Report a link. If you're on a page, the address is filled in for you.

Add the link and why
Paste the link and, optionally, a line about why it looks suspicious. Tap Send for review.

Track it under “My reports”
Switch to the My reports tab to see each report's status — Under review, then our verdict once the team has checked it.

Buy your plan
Personal and Family plans are bought in the app: open More → Your plan and pick one. Google Play takes the payment, and it covers every device you sign in to. Business plans are quoted to your team — talk to us.

Activate with a code
Have a licence key or a family invite? Open More → Your plan → Activate with a code and enter it. Your protection unlocks instantly.

Renew or switch
Enter a new key any time to renew, upgrade, or move to another Circle — the same place you activate.
Your plan is tied to your MagenSec account, so it restores automatically on any device when you sign in.
Cancelling, Refunds & Billing
You can cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next charge — it does not end your protection. You keep everything you paid for until the end of the year you have already bought.

Cancel Any Time
If you bought inside the app, open Google Play → your photo → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions and tap Cancel. If you bought on this website, cancel from parakh.magensec.app/account. Chose the one year, no auto-renew plan? It never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.

Want Your Money Back?
That is a refund, and it is separate from cancelling. For app purchases, Google handles it: request one in Google Play within 48 hours, or ask Google or us after that. For website purchases, email support@magensec.app. If a refund goes through, the plan it paid for ends.

GST Invoice
For website purchases, a tax invoice (with GST for India) is under Account → Billing & invoices. Add your GSTIN there for a business invoice. For app purchases, Google Play emails the receipt and is the seller of record.
We never see or store your card / UPI details — payments are handled by Google Play in the app, and by PayU or PayPal on this website. Refunds, once approved, typically reach you in 5–7 business days.
Your family Circle
A Circle brings the phones you care about together so one person can look after everyone — built for the people scammers target most: elders and children, plus the rest of the family. There is no separate family plan: each phone carries its own licence, and the Circle is how you watch over them together.

Open your Circle
Tap Circle in the bar at the bottom of the screen to see everyone in it and the devices signed in.

Invite family
Create an invite and share it however you like. When they enter it in Activate with a code, they join your Circle and are protected right away.

Manage anytime
Add or remove people and see who's covered from the same screen. Everyone keeps their own private history — a Circle shares protection, not browsing.

Family Guardian
Guardian lets you watch over a parent or loved one — you get a heads-up if MAGI stops something serious on their device, without ever seeing what they browse.

Turn on Guardian
Tap Circle in the bar at the bottom and use People you watch over to link the device you want to look after (with their consent).

Get gentle alerts
When MAGI blocks a scam or dangerous link on their device, you see a short alert — “watching over N” with recent activity — right on your home screen.

Privacy kept
Guardian shares alerts only — never their messages, links, or history. A device that is only being watched shows nothing extra.
Refer a friend — give 15, get 15
Share your referral code from More → Your plan. When a friend installs Parakh and buys a plan, you both get 15 bonus days. Sign in first to get your code.
Your privacy
Parakh is private by design. Nothing you check leaves your device for the basic checks. For risky or shortened links, MAGI can check them from the cloud — but only a plain web address is shared, never your identity, your IP, or the contents of your messages.
No conversations
Share-to-check reads only the link you pick, never the chat around it.
No selling data
Your history stays on your device and is yours to clear at any time.
Cloud, minimised
Cloud checks strip query strings and personal bits — the scam site never sees your device.
Troubleshooting
Links don't open in Parakh
Set Parakh as your default browser: More → Set up protection again, or your device's Settings → Apps → Default apps → Browser.
Update available
If the home screen shows an update banner, tap it to get the latest protection. You can also update Parakh from Google Play at any time.
Cloud checking is off
It comes on with a plan, so this usually means you are signed out or your plan has ended. Sign in from More → Your plan. On-device checking keeps working either way.

How much does Parakh cost?
Signing in (free) starts a 30-day trial — no card needed — and you can try a 7-day on-device demo first without an account. After that there is a single plan, Guard, with every feature included. There's no ad-supported “free forever” version — your subscription is what keeps MAGI protecting you, with nothing sold and no ads.
Do I have to set Parakh as my default browser?
Yes — this is essential. Parakh checks a link the moment it opens, so it must be your default browser to catch a scam page before it loads. Without it, links open in another browser and MAGI can't protect you.
Does Parakh see my messages?
No. When you share a link to Parakh, MAGI receives only that link — not the conversation it came from.
Can I pay once instead of subscribing?
Yes. Each plan offers two ways to pay: renews every year, which continues until you cancel, or one year, no auto-renew, which charges once and simply ends. Both cost the same and protect you identically.
The difference is what happens on the last day. A renewing plan carries on without you doing anything. A one-year plan stops — so we remind you a month, a week and a day before it ends, and you can extend it whenever you like. Pick whichever you will actually remember.
What happens if my payment fails?
Nothing, at first. Google retries the card for 14 days, and you stay fully protected the whole time — a card expiring or a UPI mandate lapsing is not a reason to take away a scam shield. We will tell you, and so will Google, so it can be fixed.
If it still has not gone through after those 14 days, protection ends. We would rather warn you clearly for two weeks than quietly hand you a bill you did not agree to.
What happens when my plan ends?
Parakh stops telling you a link is safe. It will still warn you about a dangerous one — we are not going to watch somebody walk into a scam we spotted — but everything else turns grey and unchecked, and you will see that plainly rather than have to guess.
What you really lose is everyone else: Circles, Family Guardian and the alerts that tell you a parent hit a scam. Your own phone keeps its basic checks; watching over the people you care about is the part a plan pays for.
Is cloud checking on, and can I turn it off?
With a plan it is on by default, because it is the strongest check Parakh has: risky and shortened links are opened on our servers, so a scam site never sees your phone or your IP address. We stopped asking first because the question — “should the cloud check links?” — is not one most people can answer, and answering it the safe-sounding way quietly switched off the protection they were paying for.
What actually leaves the phone is a queryless web address. Anything after ? or # is stripped, and links whose path identifies you — password resets, sign-in links, invitations, payment pages, or a WhatsApp link containing somebody’s phone number — are refused outright and never sent.
To turn it off: More → Settings → Cloud Intelligence. On-device checking carries on, the home screen tells you which mode is running, and once you switch it off it stays off — updates will not turn it back on. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Can I protect my parents or children who aren't tech-savvy?
Yes — elders and children are exactly who a Circle is built for. Turn on Care Mode and MAGI speaks warnings aloud, takes the extra choices off the screen, gives bigger buttons and switches on the strongest protection; add Family Guardian to get an alert if something serious is stopped on their device. Text size stays the phone’s own setting, so whatever they have already chosen still applies.
What happens when MAGI blocks a link?
You're shown a plain-language verdict and safe choices — close it, open a protected preview, or warn whoever sent it. You're never forced onto a risky page.
