Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 July 2026 · Applies to the Parakh mobile app and parakh.magensec.app
The short version. Parakh helps you spot risky links and scams, but no safety tool is
perfect — you stay in control of what you tap and install. Free protection works on your
device; paid plans and Circles are billed annually and you can cancel any time — you keep
your protection until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Don’t misuse the service. These terms limit our liability to the extent the law allows.
1. Who we are & accepting these terms
Parakh (with its AI assistant, Officer MAGI) is a personal digital-safety app —
part of the MagenSec platform — published by XenoCraft Labs Pvt. Ltd. (Hyderabad,
India). By installing or using Parakh, or buying a plan, you agree to these Terms and
Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

2. What Parakh does — and its limits
Parakh checks links, QR codes, downloads and installed apps for signs of scams and malware, and
can warn you or open risky links safely. It is a safety aid, not a guarantee: threats change
constantly, and no tool catches everything. You remain responsible for your own decisions about
which links to open, files to install, and information to share. Parakh does not provide legal,
financial, or security-compliance advice.
3. Eligibility & your account
- You must be able to form a binding contract to buy a plan. Parakh is a general-audience app,
not directed at children under 13; Family Guardian is for adults looking after family members.
- Signing in is optional and only needed for Circles, Family Guardian and purchases. Keep your
sign-in and any invite/pairing codes secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account.
4. Plans, billing & cancellation
- Paid plans are billed annually in your region’s currency. There is one consumer plan,
Guard, priced per phone; organisations are quoted separately for a Business Circle.
Prices are shown before you pay; introductory prices apply as displayed. Any plan we have
announced but not yet released cannot be bought and is not billed.
- Payments are handled by Google Play when you buy inside the app, or by PayU
(India) / PayPal (international) when you buy on this website. For an in-app purchase
Google is the seller of record: it shows the final price, collects any tax it is required to,
and issues the receipt. For a purchase on this website we invoice you directly — consumer
prices in India are shown inclusive of GST, while a Business Circle quote is
exclusive of GST, which is added on top of the quoted per-seat price.
- Free trial: new installs get a trial period; continue only if you choose to buy.
- Cancel any time. A renewing plan can be cancelled whenever you like — in the Google
Play app under Payments & subscriptions if you bought it there, or from your account
page if you bought it here. Cancelling stops the next charge; it is not a refund, and you
keep full protection until the end of the period you have already paid for. A one-year prepaid
plan never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
- Refunds. Purchases made inside the app are Google’s to refund and follow
Google Play’s refund policy —
you can request one yourself in Google Play within 48 hours, and after that by asking Google or
us. Purchases made on this website are refunded by us. If a purchase is refunded, the plan it
paid for ends. Email support@magensec.app and we will
help either way.
- A Circle owner’s cancellation affects that Circle’s coverage.
- Activation codes, coupons and gift/Circle invites are subject to their stated validity and
single-use limits and have no cash value.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Parakh. In particular, don’t: break the law; probe, overload, or interfere with the
service or its rate limits; reverse-engineer or resell it except as the law allows; use it to
surveil someone without a lawful basis; or submit others’ personal data through reporting features
without cause. We may suspend access that abuses the service.
6. Third-party links, content & services
Parakh analyses third-party links and may rely on third-party safe-browsing and
threat-intelligence sources, sign-in providers, and payment processors. We don’t control third-party
sites or services and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Verdicts are
provided “as is” to help you decide.
7. Intellectual property
Parakh, “Officer MAGI”, the Parakh and MagenSec names, and the app’s software and content are
owned by XenoCraft Labs and its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive,
non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. All other rights are reserved.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parakh is provided “as is” and “as available”
without warranties of any kind, and we don’t warrant that it will detect every threat or be
uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, XenoCraft Labs is not liable for indirect or
consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the
amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that can’t
be excluded by law.
9. Changes, suspension & termination
We may update the app and these Terms; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, for material
changes, provide notice where appropriate. You can stop using Parakh at any time. We may suspend or
end access for breach of these Terms or to protect users and the service.
10. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India (XenoCraft Labs Pvt. Ltd. is based in
Hyderabad, India), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country. Questions?
Email support@magensec.app.
